Croix, 27 September 2022: Oney, international bank with expertise in payment and consumer finance and leader in split payments in France and several European countries, is launching the third edition of its “Win Win Week” in France, Spain and Italy.

From the 30th of September to the 6th of October, Oney is helping consumers to adopt more responsible consumption uses by offering them free payment in several instalments from numerous partner brands such as Backmarket, MaxiCoffee, Belong, Norauto, Vestiaire Collective, All Tricks and Ovélo.

Oney, a major player in better consumption

For nearly 40 years, Oney has been creating payment and financing solutions that today enable nearly 8 million customers to improve their daily lives but also encourage them to opt for more responsible and sustainable consumption habits.

To this end, Oney continues to partner with leading brands from the circular economy sector, that are moving the lines and providing real support for consumption and budget control.

This is a strong ambition, perfectly in line with the current concerns of Europeans who are increasingly purchasing second-hand products.

According to the second edition of the European Better Consumption Barometer, launched by Oney with Harris Interactive in June 2022 (link), 3 out of 4 Europeans have opted for a second-hand products rather than new ones over the last 12 months. Furthermore, 76% of Europeans (74% of the French) would buy more second-hand products if they could pay for them in instalments.

In order to support this commitment by giving everyone the opportunity to make a consumption choice, Oney has created “Win Win Week”, weeks during which spilt payment is offered free of charge for responsible purchases. An operation that should seduce many consumers in the run-up to the festive season, as half of Europeans plan to buy second-hand or reconditioned products more often (53% of the French) in the next 12 months.

Win Win Week #3: one week of free split payment fees!

From September 30 to October 6, the third edition of “Win Win Week” will address sectors that are popular with consumers such as green mobility, high-tech, leisure, decoration and furniture.

The participating brands of this third edition are:

  • France : MaxiCoffee  and Belong (household appliances and high-tech), Vestiaire Collective (clothing), Backmarket (high-tech and electronics) Ovélo (green mobility)
  • Spain : Backmarket (high-tech and electronics)
  • Italy : Norauto and  Alltricks (green mobility)

The second-hand market has gained 50% in popularity in one year and half of Europeans want to use it more in the 12 months to come. That is why, particularly at this end-of-year period, which is often a dynamic time for brands, we are launching a new edition of our Win Win Week. Through this operation, and thanks to our partners, we are continuing to encourage our customers to adopt eco-responsible practices and engage citizens in a more virtuous mode of consumption
