Croix, May 11th, 2026

At a time when the desire to get away is strong among the French, budget caution often prevents them from turning their plans into reality. To overcome this barrier, Oney, a major European player in consumer financing, insurance and fraud prevention, and the French leader in split payments, and Corsair, voted Best Leisure Airline in France in 2025, have joined forces.
This partnership enables Corsair customers to better manage their holiday budgets by paying for their airline tickets in 3 or 4 instalments by bank card, for amounts of up to €6,000.

A concrete response to French consumers’ aspirations

According to a CSA study conducted for Oney in 2025, 21% of French people are considering using 3- or 4-instalment payments at no extra cost or consumer credit. In the travel sector, this appetite is particularly strong among young adults, with 43% of 18–24-year-olds stating they are willing to use these split payment solutions.

At the same time, travel-related spending continues to rise (+2.5% in 2025, according to the BPCE Digital & Payments Barometer – L’Observatoire 2026). The market is normalising after the “revenge travel” period, with the search for fair value now guiding French consumers’ choices. They are increasingly attentive to value for money and to optimising their budgets, including for long-haul destinations.

In this context, split payment acts as a booking trigger, smoothing the purchasing process and making higher-value baskets more accessible.

The Oney x Corsair partnership directly addresses this aspiration, turning the desire to travel into a concrete and accessible reality.

Split payments to make travel plans a reality

At a time when travellers are seeking flexibility and control over their budgets, Oney’s secure split payment solution offers an ideal option. It allows customers to spread the cost of a planned or unexpected trip, providing Corsair clients with greater flexibility.

With more than 10 years of collaboration with leading players in the tourism industry (airlines, tour operators, leisure parks, hotels, etc.), Oney has established itself as the leader in split payments in France and a preferred partner for tourism and travel stakeholders.

Jérôme PICARD, Head of E-commerce & Information Systems at Corsair: « Corsair’s mission is to sustainably connect travellers with its destinations and make travel accessible to as many people as possible. By partnering with Oney, we are enhancing our service offering with a split payment solution that meets our customers’ current expectations. We remain true to our promise: to deliver a travel experience that is more flexible, simpler and aligned with today’s traveller behaviours. »

Julien CAILLEAU, Deputy CEO of Oney : « With Corsair, we reaffirm our commitment to making travel more accessible. This partnership demonstrates our ability to support travel industry players in deploying payment solutions that meet both evolving consumer expectations and the new requirements of the European Consumer Credit Directive (CCD2), which will come into force in November 2026.»
