Croix, July 29, 2022 – Oney, an expert bank in payment, financing and insurance solutions and the leader in fractional payments in several European countries, announces the appointment of Julien Gaffet as Deputy General Manager, in addition to his current position as IT, Digital and Data Director.

Julien Gaffet, a graduate of Telecom Paris, a leading digital engineering school, began his career at Orange in 2000. For twelve years, he evolved within the group and became Marketing Director for Business Applications. In 2014, he decided to join the Wonderbox group, the European leader in gift boxes and specialist in the sale of leisure activities on the internet. He managed the launch of Wonder Weekend, a new offer of the group and continued this intrapreneurial experience for almost two years.

In 2017, he was appointed Head of Digital Customer Spaces within the BPCE group, to carry out the convergence project of the Banque Populaire and Caisse d’Epargne Apps, which will lead to the creation of a digital solution, today ranked as the best banking App in the French market.

In January, Julien Gaffet joined Oney as a member of the General Management Committee, with the mission of supporting Oney in the implementation of the Oney2024 strategic plan, in compliance with financial, societal and development commitments.

As CTIO, he is particularly in charge of the IT transformation required to achieve Oney’s strategic ambitions and the structuring of the data ecosystem. He is also in charge of managing cross-functional and global digital projects that contribute to the constant improvement of customer, partner, and employee experiences. Since his arrival, Julien Gaffet has made a significant contribution to Oney and its teams in digitalization, in line with the company’s ambitions.

This new appointment, as Deputy General Manager, reflects the importance Oney places on IT, data and digital technology issues and the need to further accelerate its digital transformation.
