Oney partners with e-retailers leading the circular market in Europe to offer consumers split payment in 3 or 4 times with no fees from November 26 to December 6 for more responsible purchases

  • Oney supports European consumers as they look for more responsible options for end of year holiday purchases and asserts its position as a committed partner in the circular economy transformation
  • Launched with partners in different sectors of the circular economy in 5 countries across Europe (France, Portugal, Romania, Italy and Belgium), consumers will benefit from the possibility to pay in 3 or 4 times without fees when buying responsible goods
  • In Europe, one in two consumers has already made a purchase on the circular market and one in three says he is ready to do it again

Croix, November 18th 2021 – From November 26 to December 6, Oney, expert in payment solutions, consumer credit and financial services, and one of the leaders of split payment in Europe, launches the first Win-Win Week initiative with European partners in the circular economy, offering consumers the opportunity to make their online purchases using split payment in 3 or 4 times without fees for responsible goods.

This initiative follows the launch of the first European Observatory of Circular Consumption by Oney in October 2021 and affirms Oney’s ambition to support retailers and consumers as they transition to more circular, responsible consumption. Indeed, as demand continues to drive the circular market growth, consumers are increasingly conscious of the environmental and societal impact of their consumption. With the end of the year being synonymous with gift offering and extra spending, Oney’s Win Win Week supports both retailers and consumers making it easier to navigate the period, encouraging and enabling better budget management.

Split payment options provide European consumers with more flexible payment options and gives them greater control of their budget. 60% of Europeans have already used split payment options and up to 19% of consumers are using split pay options monthly. (Oney/OpinionWay May 2019)
