Fabrice Gourgeonnet appointed Chairman of Oney’s Board of Directors

Fabrice Gourgeonnet, Head of Financial Solutions & Expertise at Groupe BPCE, succeeds Yves Tyrode as Chairman of Oney’s Board of Directors.

Over the past five years, Yves Tyrode, Chief Executive Officer in charge of AI, Digital & Payments at Groupe BPCE, has successfully led Oney’s transformation, overseeing changes to its governance, refocusing its activities and diversifying its solutions. These achievements have paved the way for a new phase in Oney’s development.

Working alongside Jean-Pierre Charles, Chief Executive Officer of Oney, and the existing management team, which remains unchanged, Fabrice Gourgeonnet will oversee the implementation of the company’s new strategic roadmap and drive the development of its activities in support of its merchant partners and customers.

This change in governance coincides with Oney joining Groupe BPCE’s Financial Solutions & Expertise business unit. This new organization will bring together all of Groupe BPCE’s consumer finance expertise within a single business unit.

Backed by its two shareholders, BPCE (50.1%) and ELO (formerly Auchan Holding, 49.9%), Oney designs payment, financing, insurance and fraud prevention solutions that support the transformation of commerce and help 8.6 million customers across Europe finance their purchases and projects, while promoting more sustainable consumption.
