Creation of a major player in mobile payment Lyf Pay - born out of the merger of Fivory and Wa! – is the new mobile payment universal solution for customer relationship management

Lyf Pay will enrich and simplify the life of its customers. Announced last October, the merger of Fivory and Wa! promised an innovative and unique solution to meet the needs of merchants and consumers in their day-to-day lives. This has now been done: the application will be available for all smartphones from 18 May.

As users become increasingly mobile and connected, developing new shopping experiences, managing customer relationships and monitoring the data gathered are major challenges both for retailers and for banks.

An innovative mobile payment application

Lyf Pay offers an innovative mobile payment application, multi-service and secure, to aid the customer relationship.

Central to new digital models, service personalisation and responsible data management are a prerequisite for the merchant and the consumer. Lyf Pay is providing people with their technology to develop a close relationship between all stakeholders in the ecosystem: consumers, merchants and banking partners.

An application designed to simplify the day-to-day life of users

Developed together with merchants and designed for consumers, the Lyf Pay application covers an extremely broad field of activity: payment in-store (from small merchants to large retailers), online purchases, payment between friends or even gift to an association. Incorporating payment cards, loyalty cards, coupons, it creates a close relationship with the consumers it supports, offering them updates on their favourite stores, offers they can enjoy and information on their spending.

Non-proprietary, the application can be installed on any type of smartphone. While built on the expertise of the banks securing the transactions, it is the result of significant work surrounding usability and the smoothness of the user experience: a simple response to the challenge created by the digitisation of user spending.

A solution already adopted by the market that looks promising

With multiple large retailers having signed up and supported it, including Auchan Retail France and Total, many independent merchants and partners particularly in the field of events and associations (cultural, sport, charitable, student,…) as well as in direct sales, Lyf Pay is a proven solution.

With a national roll-out beginning on 18 May, Lyf Pay will quickly offer more points of sale and services accepting the application. This application will also add further functionality to better handle the increasing number of uses.
