Alice’s Garden, the outdoor equipment specialist, becomes the first partner to integrate 3x Oney in Belgium.

Oney, international expert in innovative payment solutions, announces the launch of its activities in Belgium. After France, Spain and Italy, Belgium is the 4th country to offer “3x4x Oney” to e-merchants. Oney is thus pursuing its ambition to become the European leader in fractional payment and is increasing its ability to support its partner brands internationally with a unique, secure solution that is highly appreciated by consumers and e-merchants.

Oney is the only player in Belgium to offer online fractional payment with a 100% digital customer path. Oney is the leader in fractional payment in France with more than 300 e-merchant partners. Oney has conquered the French, Spanish and Italian markets with its 3x4x credit card payment solution. This 100% digital solution, which is unique in Belgium, has been designed to adapt to the desires and budgets of each individual: smooth customer journey, immediate order validation, payment security (thanks to its anti-fraud solution Oneytrust) and ease of integration for the merchant thanks to Oney’s international payment API… All of Oney’s expertise in secure payment and smooth shopping experience is thus put to use in an innovative payment solution for the benefit of Belgian consumers and e-merchants.

Alice’s Garden, a specialist in outdoor equipment, has opted for the 3x Oney solution to meet the expectations of its customers and develop its turnover.

Fractional online payment is an innovation favoured by Belgian consumers for their purchases: 45%* of them consider that fractional payment is suitable for online purchases, according to an international study conducted by Youlovewords and Happydemics for Oney.

Fractional payment in Belgium: an expected innovation

If the study shows that only 25%* of Belgians say they are familiar with fractional payment, almost a third consider its use to be relevant for the travel or fashion and clothing sectors (28%*) as well as for high-tech products (25%*): a use that can also make it possible to make a more expensive purchase for 48%* of Belgians. As security and identification remain essential criteria, 72%* of Belgians would like the bank offering fractioned payment to be identifiable by users: an essential guarantee of transparency for all transactions”.

We are very pleased to be the first Oney partner in Belgium to offer the online “3x Oney” that perfectly meets our customers’ needs: a secure, simple and fast payment facility. This is a real innovation for Belgium and our customers, as Oney is the only player to be able to offer this 100% digital payment solution”, says Kevin HA, Managing Director of Alice’s Garden Belgium.

” We are very proud to continue the deployment of our Oney 3x4x split payment solution. It combines ease of use for the consumer, secure transactions and simple deployment within a merchant’s site”, says Jean-Pierre Viboud, Managing Director of the Oney Group. “Alice’s Garden’s trust and the welcome its customers have given to our solution prove that it meets a real need on the Belgian market, where this type of solution is very popular. With this launch, we are pursuing our international development in order to support our partner brands in their own expansion with a unique solution adapted to the new online shopping paths. This additional step in our international development reinforces our ambition to become the European leader in fractional payment “,
